March 1, 2025 – National Museum of Natural History
Yesterday was a most abundantly pleasing and fun day. I awoke and was fetched by Jayson at the normal time of 8:00am. Jayson drove me to the Binuya household on Dimasalang Street. Mrs. Cora had prepared a wonderful breakfast of Chili with beans and a salad. We also had leftover Imbethedo and garlic, butter, raisin toast. The chili was absolutely scrumptious and gave us the fuel to fire up our day.
After eating, Johanna opened her day 17 gift and love song. The day 17 song is 'Butterflyhanna (Fly Forever Free).' We both listened to the song with glee, while laughing to our hearts content, until we were out of breath. We laughed so much, we could laugh no longer. Afterwards, we packed up and headed out via trike, to another trike terminal, to a jeepney transport terminal, and finally to the LRT at the Edsa Station. From the Edsa station, we rode to United Nations Station. We got off the LRT, hand-in-hand with big ole smiles, and we proceeded to the national Museum of natural History. (Give short description of the museum according to Wikipedia). We stayed at the museum until it close at 6:00pm, and we were both in awe of all the exhibits that dwelt among the vast floors of the museum.
Subsequent to the museum, Johanna and I walked to Rizal Park and watched a water show in the large fountain of the park mall. We shot many photos on the streets, and we enjoyed ourselves very much. (Add a brief description of Rizal Park from wikipedia). We walked from the park back to the United Nations Train Station, and we boarded the LRT. We rode it to the Edsa Station. From there, we boarded a jeepney and went to the MOA: Mall of Asia. (Add a brief description of MOA from wikipedia). At MOA, I bought three thank you cards for Mr. Joe and Mrs. Cora, Jayson, and Jonathan from the National Book Store. Then, we went to Ace Hardware to buy the adaptors for the air compressor hose. And then, like a fairytale, Johanna and I rode the MOA Eye Ferris wheel.. This ferris wheel overlooks Manila bay and the city of Manila. Johanna and I were staring into each other's eyes more so then looking at the view from MOA Eye. We were in a timeless moment of pure love and bliss. I wish the moment never ended, and perhaps in won't. Both Johanna and I are madly in love, and we love to kiss each other on the neck, ear, cheek, and nose. We promised we would not lock lips until the time of our marriage when the officiant says, “And now, you may kiss the bride.”
After riding the MOA Eye, Johanna and I went to Olive Garden in MOA. We had an enjoyable, delectable Italian dinner. Johanna ordered chicken alfredo and I ordered the all-you-can-eat soup, salad, and breadsticks. We also ordered an appetizer of fried mozzarella wedges. We both ate to our heart's content, and our bellies were stuffed. We enjoyed each other's company, and we simply like to be around one another in silence of in conversation. We both like simple, peaceful moments, and both of us are low-maintenance. Following dinner, we made our way back to the transport terminal at MOA, we boarded a jeepney, and returned to the Arca Terminal. Johanna got me a ride with a motorcycle taxi and she boarded another jeepney to get to Taguig. The motorcycle driver I was with was nuts. He was flying down roads, weaving in and out of traffic, and he never came to complete stop at intersections. Even when head on or perpendicular traffic was headed our way. I thought I was going to bounce off the back of the motorcycle. I was hanging on for dear life. Thank you, Jesus, we made it back tot eh Grace Mall. I didn't have correct change to give him, so he went up to another motorcycle taxi, and he asked for change for my 500 pesos. The guy had it, but he asked for a tip. I gave him 100 pesos and I gave the driver 200 pesos. I kept the other 200 pesos. Both gentlemen were pleased, and I retired to my condo for the remainder of the night. So ends day 18 of my sojourn in the Philippines with maganda Johanna! Over and out for now.
